Who we are
BountyMe is a performance marketplace operated from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Brands post bounties for specific actions. Creators share brand links. Followers can act on those links — and re-share them. Anyone in the chain whose share leads to a verified action earns a portion of the bounty.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to earn on BountyMe, whether as a creator or as a follower who re-shares. Everyone who shares a tracked link is responsible for complying with disclosure laws applicable to their audience (e.g. FTC, CASL, ASA).
How earnings work
A creator's link can be acted on — or re-shared — by anyone, anywhere in the world. Country does not matter: a follower in one country can act on or re-share a link posted by a creator in another country, and a verified action by a buyer in a third country still pays everyone in the chain. When a follower acts on the creator's link, the creator earns the bounty. When a follower re-shares the link and someone else acts on that re-share, the re-sharer earns a share of the bounty (default 70% to the re-sharer, balance to the original creator, as displayed in-app before sharing). Splits, caps, and any campaign-specific terms are shown on the bounty page before you share.
Sharer obligations
Promote only to audiences you legitimately reach. No fake engagement, no incentivized clicks, no bot traffic, no purchased traffic, no self-clicks. Conversions traced to fraud are reversed and the associated earnings forfeited — for creators and re-sharing followers alike.
Brand obligations
Honor posted bounties and the published earnings split. Approve or dispute conversions within the agreed window. Maintain accurate tracking and attribution endpoints so actions can be verified.
Performance & payouts
Earnings accrue when a verified action is approved by the brand. Payouts run on a weekly schedule for everyone who has earned — creators and re-sharing followers — and the payout method is chosen per recipient based on where they live: Interac e-Transfer for recipients in Canada, PayPal for recipients everywhere else. Your country only affects how you get paid, not whether you can earn. Daily or instant cashout may be offered later once fraud baselines are in place.
Pilot signup bonus
During our pilot, the first 20 creators to sign up receive a one-time $10 bonus, paid with their first weekly payout after their first approved conversion. The bonus is non-transferable, non-withdrawable on its own, and forfeited if the account is found in violation of these terms.
Zero hidden fees on creator earnings
What's posted is what you earn. If a bounty says $0.20, $0.20 is credited to your balance — no platform cut on creator payouts. Standard processor fees from your payout provider (e.g. PayPal) are shown before you confirm a withdrawal.
Instant notifications & ledger
The moment a brand verifies an action you receive an in-app notification and your balance updates in real time. Every cent earned is recorded in your Earnings ledger with date, brand, action, bounty type, gross amount, and the amount you keep — exportable on request.
Reliability commitment
We treat every verified payout — even $0.20 — as a contract. Verified earnings are honored through any account review, dispute, or platform change. If we ever fail to pay a verified conversion, contact team@bountyme.tech and we will make it right.
Brand fees
BountyMe charges a transparent platform fee on brand spend, disclosed inside the brand console before any campaign goes live. This fee is never deducted from creator earnings.
Disputes
Either party may raise a dispute on a conversion or payout from within the app. Disputes are reviewed by BountyMe and resolved in writing; all dispute messages are also delivered to team@bountyme.tech for record.
Termination
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or put the marketplace at risk. Verified earned conversions are honored through any resolution.
Liability
BountyMe provides the marketplace; it is not a party to the creator–brand commercial relationship. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Questions: team@bountyme.tech.
